“Next year, I’m definitely devoting myself to saving and adopting more animals. I will be on a crusade to do as much as I can. Yes, I can only imagine how crowded my house will be by 2010!” Erin Wasson, Model/Designer

“I don’t really go out much. If I wasn’t a celebrity then I don’t know how I would feel, but it’s not that much fun for me - it feels like I’m in a cage and everyone is watching.” Beyonce

“Ange and I are trying to learn French. But she’s better at it than I am. Some of my brain cells seem to have shut down, so I’m struggling. I can say “merci beaucoup” and that’s about it. Our seven-year-old rips it, man. He’s fantastic, so good. It’s really humiliating – but we’re really proud of him.” Brad Pitt

“New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve city, so let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.” P.Diddy

“I’ve been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we’re filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I’m that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!” Mischa Barton

“UNHCR has to find a goodwill ambassador who will get the attention of the president because the woman (referring to Angelina Jolie) they’ve got is not high profile enough. One of the things about being an actor is that I’ve had the opportunity to be exposed to really smart people. People have been really generous. I expose myself to those people and say, ‘Help me learn about this,’ and I’ve given myself a great post-graduate experience in this arena.”
Ben Affleck, at the press conference for his short movie, “Gimme Shelter,” in NYC on Wednesday.

“I’m sad that Catherine is not continuing on with us for New Moon. I’m going to miss her, not just as a brilliant director, but also as a friend. She has such a distinct, authentic voice that did amazing things for Twilight. I’m looking forward to every movie she does in the future. I’m excited to work with Chris and I think he brings a lot to the table, not the least of which for me is that he wrote the screenplay for and directed one of my favorite movies of all time, About a Boy. I’m really looking forward to seeing his vision for New Moon.”

“Snarky gossip bloggers, take heed: you will never have a better knack for cutting people down than Don Rickles does, and you owe much of your success - both pecuniary and otherwise - to the groundwork laid by him. There’s no doubt that at their most irreverent (and yes, mean), gossip blogs can be truly funny. After all, as Rickles has shown the world for years, there’s infinitely more material to be mined in the delicious details of the detested than there are in the lauded. Five words for good, five thousand for bad.” John Mayer on his blog.
P.S. Don Rickles is a 82-year-old comedian.

“I was lucky to stump for Barack in Indiana and to introduce him in Chicago. Barack left me five [phone] numbers. It was the greatest voicemail that I’ve gotten in my life by the way… I saved it and I went back to listen to it and my BlackBerry had erased all of Barack Obama’s phone numbers. Then when I called back to try to tell them, ‘Can I get Barack’s number? He left it for me.’ They didn’t believe me and I now have nothing and I’ve been trying to find him.” The Golden Globe nominee Jeremy Piven told extra.

“Sometimes I think, like, let’s just run away from Hollywood and adopt a son, and do my own thing. But then I realize, you know what? I want to make at least another billion dollars before I adopt children so I can just focus on them. Like, just move to an island and give them everything.” Tila Tequila told Usmagazine.com at a book signing for “Hooking Up With Tila Tequila” in NYC on Monday.

“I was never single in the industry – when the movies came out and I started getting more jobs, I was always married. So the whole thing is very new to me, and it hits you very fast because the publications jump on you. You’re dating everybody you walk around with – you can’t have any male friends. It’s weird. I’m totally single. Life is too short to be concerned with anything but having a great time. Sports are big in my life. I swim, run, bike and dance, play volleyball and soccer, and I want to start training for a triathlon. I’m one of those people who love to be active. They’ve said maybe four times recently that I’m pregnant. Because I’m leaning over in the picture! You think about it, and you’re like, ‘What are you doing?’ It’s all bullshit. Excuse my language, but it is. Women’s bodies change – they change all the time.” Kate Hudson in the January issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

“He’s manipulative and seems to have power over Heidi. I would like to see a blood test from Mexico. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had her drugged. Spencer has tried to cut everyone out of her life. I’ve been honest with Heidi, and it’s caused our relationship to decline. I’m more devastated about that than the marriage, because I’m confident the marriage won’t work out. She was my Velcro, always attached to me, I want the best for my daughter - and he’s definitely not it. I think Spencer wants to possess Heidi more than marry her. God says love your enemies, but I never expected it to be my son-in-law.” Heidi Montag’s mom says about her elopement with Spencer Pratt to Us Weekly.
