Former Spice Girl member Geri Halliwell lives in London now, and would probably never join her former bandmates Melanie Brown and Victoria Beckham in Los Angles.
Why? Because she doesn’t want her daughter Bluebell Madonna to pick up American accent, as she says: “I want my daughter to have an English accent because it’s really elegant - also my friends and family are nearby. I have got some friends in Los Angeles but they are more dependable here.”
She recently published a series of children books called “Ugenia Lavender,” which somehow successfully hit the market.
Now, she plans to turn her books into animation and Brad Pitt and George Clooney’s voices are what she has in mind for the characters.
She says: “For instance, I’ve got an actor character called Bradley Litt and a Dr Clooney who delivers Ugenia’s baby sister in a store called Garrods. Hmm, I wonder who and what these could be based on?”
“I’ve not met Brad Pitt so he’s unlikely, realistically, to take part but I am desperate to get the gorgeous George on board.”
England footballer Wayne Rooney is also one of her star options:
“Crazy Trevor, Ugenia’s friends reminds me a lot of Wayne Rooney in both looks and personality. I am really hopeful he’ll agree to voice the part. I get the impression he’d be up for doing it just for fun.”
Geri, 36, also started to write a movie script: “I’m also writing my first Hollywood screenplay, which is incredibly exciting. Watch this space!”
Musician turned writer reveals in an interview that she always wanted to be a journalist:
“After leaving college I looked into doing a journalism course. But, I then met the Spice Girls and the rest is history! So when I was offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to edit my favorite showbiz column, naturally I couldn’t turn it down! Read on for my take on the celebs of the moment - and who I think is hot… or not! You may also like some of my photos.”
Moreover, as a part of her interview with a UK magazine she said about being a color-me-happy mother:
“Having a child made me move to Highgate. I am a country girl at heart but I want to see my friends in London - so it’s a nice balance. It’s such an exclusive place to live in London. It’s got amazing schools as well and I had to think about that [before I moved]. One of the reasons I took up writing is that I can do it at home and be with my child at the same time. She’s too young to enjoy the stories at the moment. It’s really an age range from five to seven, and really some nine-year-olds can read them. Hopefully she will like them when she grows up. I did the party scene when I was younger and I got it out of my system so it doesn’t do it for me anymore.”
