Hugh Jackman Talks About Steamy Scenes With Nicole Kidman
Posted by: Roya In: Hugh Jackman| Movie| Nicole Kidman
On the set of their new movie the “Australia,” Hugh Jackman and Nicole Kidman show something during their steamy scenes that according to the director Baz Luhrmann can’t be rehearsed:
“I had a lot of things to worry about – equine flu, and it rained for the first time in the desert in 100 years! But the moment I saw them as lovers, I knew I had nothing to worry about in that department.”
Jackman who previously described the movie as “romantic, adventurous, and huge in scale,” and how he likes the director’s idea of “breaking society’s rules and love conquering all,” called working with Nicole “beyond anything I could have imagined.”
Also recently when asked by People whether he wore anything for the steamy scenes, he replies:
“I won’t tell all the nitty gritty. But [director Baz Luhrmann] treats love scenes like choreography. The camera is like a dancer. If you watch any of his movies, visually, the love scenes are like poetry.
He also described filming love scenes with Kidman as something that “couldn’t have been better or easier.”
Kidman also described her new movie in the “Good Morning America,” her favorite film that “she has ever made for the rest of her life.”
The movie must have been a very good experience for the actors since they both have been in such a good spirit these days.
