Daniel Craig’s second girl in the latest 007 movie ‘Quantum Of Solace’ Gemma Arterton, 22, was among the many other A-list guests at the British Academy Children’s Awards 2008 held at the London Hilton, and she talked about her ambitions. She shared that voicing in a cartoon is one of her future goals: “There is so much I want to achieve, lots of different parts I want to play. The world is my oyster.”
She also said about meeting Princes William and Harry at the London premier of her movie, and if she is still in contact with them: “I wish I was, unfortunately it was a fleeting moment but they were lovely guys and really funny.”

She looks pretty good in these photos although too much of make-up.
Former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell was also among the night’s guests and she succeed in fully showing off her perfect ass by wearing a sea-through dress that specifically demonstrated her nice butt cheeks.
Sienna Miller and Keira Knightley also showed up at the party together, bringing the girl power spirit.

London’s Leicester Square turned into 007 red carpet last night, with the world premier of the new bond movie Quantum Of Solace.

The special guests for the event were The Princes of England, William and Harry joining the movie crew Daniel Craig, Bond girls Gemma Arterton and Olga Kurylenko, as well as Robbie Coltrane and Dame Judy Dench.

The Princes Reportedly arrived last and spent most of their time chatting with crew on the red carpet and charming the bond’s girl.
Arterton said about meeting them: “I had a nice chat. They are lovely guys, really charismatic and polite. We had a giggle.”
Craig who is recovering after surgery on his right shoulder and was earlier shaking hands using his left hand, removed the strap and offered a firm hand to greet the Princes.
The other Bond girl, Ukrainian-born Olga Kurylenko, 28, also chatted warmly with the Princes.

Arterton also told Craig about her red carpet experience: “That was frightening but it was all right wasn’t it? I was coming out with some real gems tonight, really awful.”

The film being criticized for lacking humor, Craig said of Bond: “I think he’s hilarious. I think he gets into extraordinarily funny situations.
He said about his favorite Bond girl: “I can’t say. The one on my arm of course.”

The Oscar-winning actress, Dame Judi Dench, 73, in a glamorous low cut black dress, said about her character M: “The character of her is strong and bossy. I don’t like being in an office all the time.”
About her favorite bond Craig or Pierce Brosnan, she said: “I can’t choose, they have both got a huge sense of humor. You must not take yourself too seriously.” About future direction of Bond films, she said: “He will move with the times.”

Director Marc Forster also said this will probably be his last Bond film: “They asked me to do the next one. I was very honest. I passed because I’m working on something else.”

The Princes used the event to help support two charities, the Royal British Legion and Help for Heroes.

Supermodel Elle Macpherson was also among the guests.

Screenwriter Jordon Mechner told about the movie, also staring Jake Gyllenhaal, Gemma Arterton, and Alfred Molina:

“Prince of Persia” isn’t just going to be like “Pirates” in terms of scope and tone, the newest Disney/Bruckheimer tag-team is actually going to “do for Arabian Nights movies what ‘Pirates’ did for pirate movies. Tonally, I’d say it’s basically ‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ with maybe a half-step towards ‘Gladiator. There’ll certainly be a lot of stunts, a lot of special effects. I mean it’s Jerry Bruckheimer!” Mechner insisted. “They’re shooting in the deserts of Morocco. The scope of this is going to be massive. It’s really spectacular. Well the movie’s packed with action, so there’ll be swords and horses and all the things that wouldn’t be ‘Prince of Persia’ without. But because it’s a movie, it’s about the characters and character relationships. There’s no fighting for fighting’s sake. In a game, you have a lot of fighting because you’re doing it and it’s fun,” he said. “But in a movie, fighting’s a part of the story but it’s not a movie about swordfighting.”

The movie is said to be released in May 2010.

Bond Girls are my favorites: “Pussy Galore”, “Plenty O’Toole”, and “Holly Goodhead”, those tough girls who need a tougher guy to come and rescue them.

In the new 007 movie “Quantum Of Solace,” Bond’s girl played by Gemma Arterton, is drowned in crude oil while her dead body is hanging over a bed.
It’s a reminiscent of the 1964 Bond movie “Goldfinger”, when Jill Masterson’s character played by Shirley Eaton, was covered in gold after being killed for betrayal.
Bond character is played by Daniel Craig.

The movie will be released mid November. Can’t wait to watch it.
