It was like just yesterday that we used to gather in our living room, watching the latest Harry Potter and the 8-year-old kids doing their magic, super entertaining us. They are all grown out of that.
Now, Emma Watson of Harry Potter will be the second of those kids who decided to go naked for a movie.
Her co-star Daniel Radcliff has already made his transition from child star to a successful adult star by showing himself in the buff onstage of Broadway ‘Equus’ and his next naked appearance will be in a scene of ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’.
This time Emma has revealed that she would be ready to take her clothes off if a role demands it. It is only a matter of time before she receives her first role in which she is required to go naked. She told The Sunday Times that if she was asked by Italian director Bernardo Bertolucci to do a nude scene, she wouldn’t say no to that: “I would go nude, for Bernardo Bertolucci. It depends. I’m not taking my clothes off anytime soon, but it is part of my job.”
She also told the paper how she is struggling to fit into the movie industry, because of her age: “I am at a strange age. I’m not a woman yet, but I’m not a girl anymore. Film companies say, ‘Oh, in a couple of years you will be perfect for this.’ I’ll be like, ‘Yeah, but I want to be studying English at university then, so it’s going to be tough to choose between the two.’ ”
Now if only someone writes a script for Bernardo Bertolucci with lots of nude scene.
Emma has her new movie ‘The Tale of Desperaux’ due at the end of this month.
