
Former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has been released from the hospital, nine days after surviving a fiery plane crash in South Carolina that left four dead and two critically injured, People magazine reports.
He was released one week sooner than expected.
DJ AM was released on Friday. His rep told:
“While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide. We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”
The DJ updated his Facebook page later Friday: “Adam Goldstein [AM's real name] is the luckiest guy alive.”
Travis is supposed “to send a message out to everybody in a couple of days to let everybody know that he’s feeling better. He’s definitely feeling the love from everyone,” Jermaine Dupri, Travis friend who told the press he will be out of hospital in about two weeks, told MTV.

DJ AM was released from hospital after being treated for injuries from a fatal plane crash. People.com reports:
“While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide,” his rep, Jenni Weinman, says in a statement. “We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.”
Travis Barker is expected to leave the hospital in 2 weeks.

DJ AM (Adam Goldstein) and Travis Barker are recovering. Their rehabilitation center issued an statement to the press:
“Both Travis Barker and Adam Goldstein (DJ AM) are currently being treated for second and third degree burns. Barker suffered from burns on his torso and lower body and Goldstein suffered from burns on his arm, and a portion of his scalp.
Since both Barker and Goldstein are in overall good health and didn’t suffer from any other crash-related complications, a full recovery is expected. The families wish to thank fans from all over the world for their prayers and concern.
Deepest sympathy is expressed to the loved ones of those who perished in the crash. As the two recuperate and mourn this loss, privacy for them, their families, and friends is requested at this time.”

There were six of them and now they are only two. Travis Barker, former Blink drummer, and DJ AM were involved in a plane crash among 4 others who died. They reported to be in a critical conditions.
