Cameron Diaz showed her support for the new Broadway Musical ‘Shrek’ by appearing at the opening night of it at the Broadway, last night.
She looks absolutely classic and mature in her Bill Blass dress and black Dior coat, while her red lipstick adds to her old school Hollywood glamor look.
While Cameron did the voice of Princess Fiona in the “Shrek” film franchise, she said on the red carpet that she is not interested in portraying Fiona on stage: “No. Absolutely not. What they do up there… is, to me, impossible. It’s wonderful, though. They’ve done such a great job. They worked really hard, and it really pays off.”
Yet, she will be back to voice Fiona for the fourth installment of the “Shrek” film, set to release in 2010.
America Ferrera was also at the event, dressing quite like Diaz, sans the lipstick.
I looked at about 15 photos of Cameron at the event, and this one above, and the one below were the only ones she was smiling at, which doesn’t seem normal. She always gives big smiles constantly at the red carpet.
