“Next year, I’m definitely devoting myself to saving and adopting more animals. I will be on a crusade to do as much as I can. Yes, I can only imagine how crowded my house will be by 2010!” Erin Wasson, Model/Designer

“I don’t really go out much. If I wasn’t a celebrity then I don’t know how I would feel, but it’s not that much fun for me - it feels like I’m in a cage and everyone is watching.” Beyonce

“Ange and I are trying to learn French. But she’s better at it than I am. Some of my brain cells seem to have shut down, so I’m struggling. I can say “merci beaucoup” and that’s about it. Our seven-year-old rips it, man. He’s fantastic, so good. It’s really humiliating – but we’re really proud of him.” Brad Pitt

“New York is the world’s most iconic New Year’s Eve city, so let’s lead by example and show everyone that a sophisticated holiday celebration doesn’t just end when the ball drops, but when everyone gets home safely.” P.Diddy

“I’ve been having an amazing spiritual exploration visiting Hindu temples and learning about Buddhism, both beautiful religions. Hyderabad where we’re filming is a real inspiration in the fact that Christians, Muslims and Hindus all get along so harmoniously. I must admit I used to make fun of people who were all into yoga and chai tea thinking it was another ridiculous health fad. But now I’m that person! First of all Masala Chai tea, the traditional way with milk and sugar is delicious, and this is coming from a brit who only likes my breakfast tea!” Mischa Barton

benjaminbutton7_500 Boring Movie Alert: The Curious Case of Benjamin Button brad-pitt
Spoiler Alert!

Yesterday, for the first time in my entire life, I fell asleep in the movie theater, half way through watching the ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’. And let me say that I’m a big movie fan. I probably have watched more boring foreign and indie movies than Hollywood films, but this one was just bad.
I found it not only boring but over the top awkward. It was like an Oliver Twist cartoon for very old people. Depressing, dark, disappointing, and anything negative attached to it, I may say. As the movie finished and I woke up, I told my friend “that was the most boring film I have ever seen,” and a middle- aged guy behind us told me: “you can say that again!”

Brad Pitt is born old, like a 100-year-old person, and he starts to age reversely. So to speak, when he is like 9 years old he looked like a shrinking, handicap 80 years old who needs help getting around. The oddest part is when he and a 9-year-old girl get attached and continue their communications all the way through the end of the film. I missed almost half of the three-hours movie, so I can’t say much, but here what Brad had to say about it in a nutshell to The LA Times: “you meet someone who is maybe in their 60s, 70s, even 80s, and you meet them as that person, anyone beyond the age of retirement. And you seldom realize they had a whole life of experience. They were just as virile and ingenious and capable as you believe yourself to be.”
And about the ending he adds: “It’s a tragedy in the sense that any love involves loss, and that’s the risk you take.”
Brad did a great acting though, but nothing could have saved that long, absurd script, not even such a great director as David Fincher.
Then again, I will definitely watch the movie again, this time with some coffee and in the day light. That may change my view.

Just don’t watch it if you get bored easily. I recommend the “Bed Time stories.” It is uplifting, funny, and good for your holiday spirits. Plus, Adam Sandler gave a very good performance.

brunovbenbuttonposter-440x595 The Curious Case of Benjamin Buttons Art Poster brad-pitt

This is the promotional art for the movie ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’, featuring actress Taraji P. Henson and a nude, wrinkly baby Brad Pitt. For some unknown reasons Paramount Pictures and director David Fincher chose not to use it as the movie poster, which is weird because it’s such a powerful image that could better help sell the movie.

Brad Pitt Gets A SAG Nod On His 45th Birthday

brad-pitt2 Brad Pitt Gets A SAG Nod On His 45th Birthday brad-pitt

Brad Pitt turned 45 yesterday, and the same day he got his SAG nod for his role in the movie The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. One more step forward to his Oscars nod.
His new movie is also about aging, or reverse aging to be exact; he told in an interview with The LA Times on Wednesday about his amusement with his role in the film: “I was actually quite intrigued to see where it might be heading. I doubt time and gravity will be as kind as I was to myself. It just made me think about the ticking clock. Am I in mid-life? Am I halfway there? Do I have 10 years, five years? And so what are those moments going to be that I do know I have, which is now?”

There were also some false news earlier today saying that Paramedics have been called to his LA home , but it turned out that was for his neighbors, as seen in the video below.

Brad Pitt Gets Old School For A Japanese Ad

bradp Brad Pitt Gets Old School For A Japanese Ad brad-pitt

Director Wes Anderson debuted a post-modern piece by fusioning Brad Pitt in a 30-second television advertisement for a Japanese cellphone company (Softbank Mobile’s winter 2008 collection), and a French song along on the background. The piece is apparently inspired by Jacques Tatis 1953 French film “Les Vacances de Monseieur Hulot”. The commercial was shot in a seaside town in France in September.
In it, Brad is taking a nude photo with his cellphone and gives some old school moves. Also check out the video below to see some of Brad’s vintage dance moves. He sure has da moves. This ad will be added to his several other commercials debuts including wonderful American Express “My Card” ad and a series of commercials for AT&T in 2007.

The following advertisement is filmed in what it seems to be a one continuous take and features a bunch of swish pans.

P.S. Brad’s infamous mustache is missing here.

brad Brads Mustache, Diane Krugers Hat= Great Preview Of Inglourious Basterds brad-pitt

‘Inglourious Basterds’ is now being filmed in Germany and it’s happening all quietly till these photos of Brad Pitt as Aldo Raine a dressing soldier with his infamous scar, and a bar scene with Diane Kruger in a fancy hat in it, leaks. The bar set is said to become a legendary scene. Here, it appears to be a drinking game going on there.

The movie is another world war epic. Epics are taking over this year’s and years ahead of cinema apparently, but I like the name of this one, and with Brad in it, it really makes sense.

brad-rs-b Brad Pitt In Rolling Stone: Angelina Is A Badass angelina-jolie

Brad Pitt covers the latest issue of the Rolling Stone, on newsstands on Friday. He is talking about his new movie fantasy drama, The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, which opens December 25th, about Angelina Jolie, kids, and more.

Here is some of the highlight:

On his new movie/ learning about his morality:
“Angie and I do not fight anymore. What occurred to me on this film, and also with the passing of her mother is that there’s going to come a time when I’m not going to get to be with this person anymore. I’m not going to get to be with my children anymore. … And so, if we have a flare-up, it evaporates now.”

On change of priorities in his life:
“I have this fantasy of my older days, painting or sculpting or making things. But right now, it’s about getting the work done and getting home to family. I have an adventure every morning getting up.”

On New York Times critical feature about Angelina Jolie’ relationship with the press:
“I don’t want to waste time being angry at someone I love. It sounded to me like the story made Angie out to be manipulative in some way. … She is savvy. But one of the things I’m most proud of is that not only did these guys who follow us and make our lives miserable and get in my kids’ faces, not only did they not get the money, but it went to people who really need it. I get defensive. [They're] talking about not only the woman I love, but one of the people on this planet who I have the greatest respect for. I think she’s as honorable as anyone I’ve ever met.”

On Jolie’s method of publicity:
“When it came to the birth of our children, a huge bounty was placed on their heads. And people were going to go to incredible lengths to get it. She’s definitely more experienced. Yeah, she’s badass.”

his favorite Jolie film?/ Why?:
Their 2005 action flick Mr. & Mrs. Smith. Because he falls in love in it.

natalieveganshoes1 Natalie Portmans Vegan-Friendly Shoe Collection Closed Up Shop brad-pitt

Last year, the vegetarian Natalie Portman had teamed with the New York label Té Casan to design her own line of vegan-friendly footwear. The patent high-heeled Mary-Janes were made without animal ingredients a.k.a no fur, no leather, no feathers; The shoes were available in February 2008 for the retail price of around $200.

Being vegetarian for 17 years, she told London’s Guardian last November about not wearing leather but wool: “although I don’t think I have a lot of wool clothes. And I sort of made a no-buying-anything-new rule. I just have a lot of stuff. I figured, Look, if I need something, if my running shoes have holes in them and I don’t have running shoes any more, then I’ll get new ones.”

Now, her shoe Collection has closed up shop, as its parent company, Té Casan, closed up shop for good last month, so did its website.

Economic recession have no mercy, not even for sweat vegetarian and animal-lover like Natalie. But I’m sure she’ll come up with something else anytime soon.
